Meet Dr. Daniels
For Dr. David Daniels, combining his passion for orthodontics and baseball has been an amazing ride. He grew up in Nashville, Tennessee where he attended Vanderbilt University for his bachelor’s degree and excelled as a pitcher for their baseball team. As a hard-throwing “sidearm” relief pitcher, he still holds the program’s Career Record for Most Games Pitched. Upon graduation, he continued his playing career into the professional ranks, pitching six seasons for the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres, and St. Louis Cardinals organizations.
When right elbow surgery ended one career, Dr. Daniels opened the door to another by attending the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He then continued his orthodontics specialty training at Tufts School of Dental Medicine, where he earned a Master’s Degree.
