Meet Dr. David Daniels, DMD, MS
Dr. David Daniels was born in New York City, but raised in Nashville, Tennessee.
He attended Vanderbilt University for his undergraduate education, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Honors U.S. History, while setting two career records as the “Closer” for the baseball team!! Dr. Dave continued his baseball career pitching for the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres, and St. Louis Cardinals for six seasons. After elbow surgery ended his baseball career, Dr. Daniels returned to school to become an orthodontist.
Dr. Daniels graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with his DMD, and continued training for his orthodontic specialty at Tufts School of Dental Medicine. There, he balanced his clinical training with a Masters of Science, while conducting additional research. After his residency, Dr. Daniels had two valuable experiences working in orthodontic practices in Northern Virginia and Southeastern Connecticut.
In 2015, Dr. Daniels opened Daniels Orthodontics in Cheshire, CT. Here, he provides consistent clinical excellence and gives back to his community. He is passionate about designing and building beautiful, healthy smiles while creating a comfortable and fun environment for every patient.
Dr. Daniels is committed to excellence in education and technology within the orthodontic field. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), New England Society of Orthodontists (NESO), and Connecticut State Dental Association.
Currently, Dr. Daniels resides in Cheshire with his son Henry and daughter Rumi. He enjoys running, attempting challenging recipes, coaching Cheshire Youth Baseball, and speaking to children about the importance of balancing education with sports. He’s looking forward to accompanying you on an exciting journey to a beautiful smile!
